Reporting Your WBE Spending

There are two methods to account for your organization’s WBE/MBE-related spending.

Method 1: Simply report dollars spent with MBE or WBE Organizations as a direct result of a contract. (e.g. $1M spent as a result of $10M annual contract).

Method 2: Report the percentage of your total corporate W/MBE spending equal to the entity's contract revenues share of your Total Corporate Revenues.

Use the same formula to determine both MBE and WBE spending but report them separately.

Reporting is typically compiled on a quarterly or an annual basis.

Example

($10 mil/$100 mil = 10% x Supplier Total WBE Spending)
Corporate Value divided by Supplier Total Revenue and multiplied by Supplier Total MBE or WBE Corporate Spending equals MBE/WBE Spending to be reported to Corporation.
